Natural yellow sapphire platinum ring, containing an unheated cushion-cut yellow sapphire measuring 10.44 x 10.17 x 9.21 mm weighing 9.31 carat.  Type II. Medium-light, moderately strong, yellow color GIA Y 4/4.   Set with 2 pear cut GIA certified diamond's at 0.50 & 0.51 cts each VS clarity, F color, 90 round brilliant cut diamonds 2.11 cts, VS clarity G-H color & 34 fancy yellow natural round brilliant cut diamonds 0.20 cts with an approximate total diamond weight 3.32 ct's. 

Both the sapphire & pear cut diamonds come with the original GIA reports shown with the pictures here.

Stunning natural yellow sapphire ring set with this beautiful 9.31 carat Ceylon sapphire, this gem carries a pure yellow hue with no secondary colors in the sought after cushion cut, this sapphire color has been graded as Y 4/4 on the GIA gemstone grade with excellent tone and strong saturation along with the origin shown on the GIA report as Sri Lanka formerly Ceylon.

Designing a custom ring for this large yellow sapphire our designer decided on platinum and 18kt yellow gold ring creating this two-tone setting, the top part of the ring has been finished off in 18kt yellow gold to show off the color of this sapphire perfectly and set with matching natural fancy yellowy diamonds which accent this design flawlessly.

Just below the sapphire housing our jeweler has set two large pear cut diamonds at 0.50 & 0.51 cts each, both pear cut diamond's also come with GIA diamond reports which can be viewed with the pictures graded as F color VS-2 clarity.

The ring shank on all sides has been finished off with 90 round brilliant cut diamonds as well as accented the frame for the pear diamonds which finishes off this custom-made sapphire ring.
