Stunning vivid royal blue cushion cut sapphire with excellent hue with the GIA color grade given as GIA B 5/5 carries the highest color grade given to a sapphire.This sapphire has being perfectly set into this custom platinum and diamond ring setting with 62 round brilliant cut diamonds as a halo around the sapphire as well as accenting the sapphire underneath and down both sides of the ring band.
This sapphire carries a natural window which can be seen at a certain angle especially if the ring is held up to strong lighting, it is this window which helps this sapphire create this lovely bright royal blue color allowing for light to travel into the sapphire to give off the vivid blue color.
